At DSC we worship the Lord through fellowship, music, the preaching of the Word, and through obedience and service.
Giving of a tithe is an act of obedience to the Lord, and service to His kingdom’s cause. We are grateful for the many who give sacrificially week by week and month by month, so that the work of Christ continues through DSC to the High Desert and around the world. We know you desire to serve the Lord in this way, so here is a convenient way of being apart of what God is doing.

What we believe about tithing:
As people of God, we recognize that everything we have belongs to Him (Psalm 50:10), and that we have been bought with a price (1 Cor. 6:20), and we are not our own (Rom. 14:8). Christ paid the full cost of sin and redemption so that we could be reconciled to Him (2 Cor. 5:18-21). Therefore, God has made us stewards of everything we have (1 Cor. 4:1), to responsibly invest in Christ kingdom purposes. Christ intends the Church to be the vehicle by which the Gospel goes forth, and the members of that church equipped for the mission of Christ (Matt. 28:19). As a token of the whole of what we have, we sacrificially give a tithe unto the Lord in worship and for the purpose of the spread of the Gospel. Christ said, “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). When we give our tithes and offerings, we are declaring in part, that we are seeking the kingdom of God first, trusting that He will continue to provide for our needs (Psalm 37:25).
